Love session on the French beach, Sable-d’Olonne, France

Here is a great engagement session in the “Sables d’Olonne“. Again for more than two hours, we did this couple session under the sign of fun, and good humor. Without taking the lead, we had fun like kids on the beach. My sessions are based on the spontaneity of the couple, but there are also much more romantic and “calm” moments. What I like above all, is to make it clear to couples, that this is only a photo shoot, and that it is absolutely necessary to take this as a game. The worst thing to do if we wants to have beautiful couple photos, it’s to try to take photos.

I think that is why couples are comfortable with me. I put them at ease, and approach the sessions in a rather fun way. And even if there are moments when they “pose”, it is always brought in a playful way to ensure that they have the impression of not posing precisely. No matter how much you say, but these little tricks can only be learned with experience. With experience, we also know very quickly what will or will not work when taking pictures!

I can’t say enough to couples how important a engagement session can be. It changes a lot, a lot, in the relationship of trust between them and their photographer (in this case me 🙂
