I am delighted to share this beautiful wedding I had the chance to capture last summer at the Château de Montmirail in Sarthe. A stunning celebration in a magnificent estate that I had yet to discover—a magical place overflowing with charm. The castle’s underground armory serves as the dining hall, and the outdoor dance floor makes this venue slightly unconventional yet full of character. It does, however, require some technical mastery of flash management for the photographer. Fortunately, I handle that quite well.
As usual, the day began with the couple’s preparations, each in their own wing of the castle. It was the perfect moment to toast with Godmé Sabine champagne, from vineyards farmed by the bride’s father. Everyone then gathered at the church located just below the castle. Bright sunshine during the cocktail hour, a wonderful atmosphere, lovely guests, and a beautiful couple—that is, in a few words, the summary of this wedding day. We don’t have an easy job! 😉

Dinner was served in the castle’s armory, beautifully transformed for the occasion. Guests were transported to another era by the elegantly decorated tables and gourmet dishes. Marie and Victor were the center of attention all evening—resplendent, radiant, and happy, their love was truly the heart of this magical night.
