Again I go to join my future bride and groom for their couple photos in Montmartre. Arrived at the hotel in the evening, we take some night shots on the hotel rooftop among the clients drinking their glass, with the view over the rooftops of Paris and the Eiffel Tower. Then again, the next morning very early, we will take advantage of this terrace, this time deserted. The cloudy sky will not offer us a sunrise, but too bad. We then head towards Montmartre. The atmosphere is a bit like in Dutronc's song "It is 5am, Paris is waking up". The small cobbled streets are completely empty, a few remains from the previous evening litter the ground. The air is still very fresh at this time, but whatever, the motivation is there.

We wander in the alleys, the hours pass. Little by little, the waiters begin to set up their terraces, the children go to school, and between two photos, we meet the delivery men, in an incessant broom of wagons, devils, and refrigerated trucks. It is then time for us to take a short break, and regain our strength with a breakfast on the terrace. French-style croissant coffee break

Coffee, croissants, and hot chocolate. Perfect excuse to take photos of this moment of calm in the heart of Montmartre, which will soon be gone. In a few hours tourists will invade the square. The sun appears, and casts the shadows of the trees on the shop fronts, and the large Haussmannian buildings in the neighborhood. The air is getting warmer, and we continue our session further, heading towards Bir Hakeim, and the center of Paris.

The sun is very present now, it is even hot. A few more photos, and our little trip will end. It is time for me to get back on the train, in the direction of beautiful Brittany, the memory cards and the head filled with pretty things.
